Remediation courses at RUCSHP follow a consistent and student‑friendly hybrid online design to accommodate visiting learners from any location.

- Tuition: $1,530 per credit hour
- Student must attend a mandatory online orientation: Friday, June 12th 9 AM – 11AM CST
- Courses Run Monday June 15th-Friday Aug 14th
- Credit Transfer: Students must verify transfer policies with their home institution
- Availability: Courses fill quickly each summer—early inquiry is strongly encouraged

Foundational Courses
Pharmaceutical Calculations (2 Credit Hours)
Pharmaceutical Calculations is a skills-based course designed to provide the essential fundamentals of calculations used in community, hospital, clinical, and industrial pharmacy practice. Students will practice skills through a library of practice questions, weekly sessions with the faculty and tutors, homework, quizzes, and examinations.
Delivered in a hybrid online structure:
- Two asynchronous lecture videos each week
- Asynchronous practice questions
- Weekly 2‑hour synchronous recitation at the dates and times listed in the course syllabus[DS1] facilitated by faculty and student tutors
- Quizzes and Exams are held synchronously at the dates and times listed in the course syllabus. These assessments are delivered via and are proctored online using and to provide a secure testing environment comparable to in‑person exams.
- Students must actively participate throughout the course in order to master essential calculation skills.
Principles of Drug Action (3 Credit Hours)
This course is designed to provide instruction in the foundational sciences required to choose drugs based on pharmacokinetic and pharmacodynamics parameters, and to introduce students to the medicinal chemistry and pharmacology of agents affecting the autonomic nervous system.

- Engage in weekly content designed to support mastery of core concepts

Integrated Sequence Courses
The Integrated Sequence is a comprehensive series of courses designed to integrate the principles of medicinal chemistry, pharmacology, and pharmacotherapeutics. The courses are centered around the study of diseases and their treatment. Courses vary by credit hour.
